Can we help the movers in the process?
Our professional movers are trained to work in teams and they already have a plan prepared before entering your premises. All the job that a customer needs to do is to open the door for the movers. Everything else will be done by our team.
Do you charge extra for the stairs or long carry?
We do not have any extra charges for stairs or long carry. We provide an all inclusive hourly rate with no additional or hidden fees.
What kind of payment methods do you have?
We have 2 payment methods. You can pay with cash or with a credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express and there is a 4 % processing fee for the card payments. The payment will be done after the moving process.
Is there a minimum charge?
As almost every licensed local moving company, we also have a minimum charge. The minimum is 3 hours and after those 3 hours our rate is proportional to 15 minutes.
How much should we tip the movers ?
Moving tips is not something that is mandatory and it depends on customers wishing. However, gratuity is always appreciated. Customers usually tip 15 % or 20 %, but at the end of the day, it is your decision and it is based on your satisfaction.
I have very fragile items, are the movers protecting everything ?
Of course ! We will bring all of the necessary packing materials and moving equipment. We use plastic wraps and blankets for protecting the items, quality tools for disassembling and reassembling your furniture and dolls for heavier items.
Do you have insurance in case something gets damaged ?
We provide a standard insurance that every insured company has and it is 60 cents per damaged pound. If needed, you can always buy 3rd party insurance, but we are assuring you that our movers know how to prevent anything from getting damaged.
What arrival time can you provide ?
We have 2 arrival windows: the morning one ( 9-10 AM ) and the afternoon one ( 2-6 PM ). We can also meet a more strict arrival window depending on your moving date.
What size is your biggest truck ?
The biggest truck we own is a 26 footer. It is used for moving bigger houses or storage units. For smaller moves we use 16 footers.
